      The project:
      An integrated mountain resort project in Pampanga, Philippines. Located between Angeles city and New Clark city. Phase 1 works include development of an 18-hole championship golf course, banyan tree main building and resort villas, club house, and ancillary site wide infrastructure and facilities.

      • You will be an advocate of Mace's value of Safety First, and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
      • You will possess knowledge of local Health and Safety rules and regulations relevant to project portfolio.
      • Awareness of HSW (Health, Safety, Wellbeing) legislation and standards, and procurement in each Trade Contract.
      • Plays an active role in site safety initiatives (site inductions, safety inspections, recording observations).

      • You will work as part of the Construction Delivery Team, taking direction from the Project senior leadership team and other Construction Managers.
      • You will build relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
      • You will build a strong working relationship with your clients and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
      • Establishes key relationships with Trade/Subcontractors.

      • You will assist in the control and coordination of specific areas or packages, and ensuring they meet quality and safe working standards.
      • You will support the Construction Delivery Team in influencing the long term development of strategy for a function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.

      • Works with colleagues to manage an area, or procure a package of works, from beginning to end. Being financially aware and responsible.

      • You will provide support to delivery teams, creating a culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.
      You’ll need to have:
      • Recognised Construction Training / Qualification (or equivalent)
      • Working towards CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) or equivalent.
      • Interpreting drawings and scope of works.
      • Knowledge of construction methodology, process, activities and engineering principles.
      • Understanding of Programmes, criticality and able to track progress against the Plan.
      • Understands business priorities through Construction to Production, Digital & Data and responsible business.
      You’ll also have:
      • SSSTS - Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme
      • Level 3 CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) NVQ, HNC, HND or relevant degree (or equivalent).
      • Developing knowledge of the construction industry.
      • Focus on problem solving rather than accountability
      • Shows initiative, recognises when to seek help/direction from colleagues.
      • Understands personal strengths and weaknesses, seeks learning and support where appropriate.
