      The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our Biologics organization, we are seeking a Site Automation Engineer (m/f/d) who can manage the development and delivery of a harmonized automation training program to support the rapid growth at Lonza Visp using various teaching methodologies. You support the development and maintenance of Syncade/DeltaV Recipes for all the manufacturing assets.

      Key responsibilities:

      • Already in the routine manufacturing phase, own the responsibility for the management of the Site Standards Library

      • Responsibility for the development and delivery of a harmonized Automation Systems Training Program

      • Author cGMP-compliant documentation (FS, Software Test Cases, SOPs, etc.) in cooperation with the Bioprocess Engineers, Plant Leads, and MSAT

      • Monitor and change processes (under change control) during the start-up, qualification and production phase and participate in risk and process deviation analysis

      • Support the development and maintenance of Syncade/DeltaV Recipes for all manufacturing assets

      • Constantly improve procedures and processes in compliance with the safety, hygiene, environmental and quality requirements in the area of responsibility

      • Recognise risks in relation to security or compliance / GMP, discuss them and help to rectify them

      Key requirements:

      • University Degree with the major in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Engineering or related disciplines

      • Good experience and knowledge of MES Syncade and DeltaV are highly desired as well as familiarity with other GMP systems (LIMS, SAP, MODA, etc.)

      • Impeccable team and social skills, very good understanding of IT / process control systems. Recognise operational optimization potential

      • Ability to communicate internally and externally at higher levels; strong business understanding Strong team orientation

      • Fluent English and conversational German
