Job summary
The Site Maintenance Officer is responsible for managing health and safety at the Steep House Nursing Home, undertaking remedial work, and liairing with external contractors for work beyond general repair and maintenance. The role requires a caring, self-motivated individual with good practical maintenance experience and excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job
The Site Maintenance Officer will be responsible for managing health and safety at the Steep House Nursing Home, a 56-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care home with a 'Good' CQC rating and a 9.9 rating on Carehome.co.uk. The successful candidate will undertake remedial work and liaise with external contractors for work beyond the scope of general repair and maintenance. The role requires 24 hours per week with some flexibility for weekend work.
