- Compensation for this position is $15 Hourly.
- The anticipated start time frame for this position is September 2023
- This is currently in-person reporting to the office 3-4 days per week.
- This role reports to the City Year New York Site Operations Manager, supports our People & Operations team, and collaborates frequently with other City Year New York departments.
- Candidates should have an interest in and/or be majoring in Operations, Logistics, Finance, Human Resources or Education

- Exceptionally organized. Able to multitask and prioritize, highly detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager the Site Operations Intern will assist in the upkeep and management of the City Year New York office space to ensure efficient management of day-to-day activities. They’ll provide support for various operations initiatives, including assisting daily office operations, ordering materials and supplies, and troubleshooting office technology.

Responsibilities
Office, Equipment and Technology Management
• Organize the office facilities including furniture maintenance, storage needs, and transportation of materials.
• Work with staff to plan new office décor and signage in accordance with City Year branding.
• Support in the planning, setup, and organization of the new City Year New York’s Office Space.
• Assist in unpacking office supplies and furniture and organizing the space in a strategic manner as staff begin to utilize City Year New York’s new office space.
Finance and Vendor Relations Support
• Place orders for office space related materials and supplies as well as food and drink related orders for the kitchen space.
• Assist the Site Operations Manager in compiling and tracking bank card receipts from multiple users.
Additional Site Operations Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Site Operations Manager to create learning tools such as how-to guides, tutorials and one-pagers for new office technology, policies, and procedures to make them accessible to staff and corps
• Coordinate space-related initiatives, including but not limited to office re-organization, recycling/e-waste removal, and team space storage.
• Data entry and ad-hoc projects as needed
