      Our Site Superintendent will work out of our West Business Unit and be in the Fresno/Bakersfield region. The Site Superintendent is responsible for the on-site development of the project and oversees the day-to-day progress of the project. This may include, but is not limited to, the overall onsite project installation from demo to startup. The Site Superintendent is responsible for ensuring they provide excellent service and results for our customers while actively promoting safe practices and embracing new approaches to accomplish projects more efficiently and effectively. This role works with business operations, business development, and engineering teams. The individual reports directly to the Sr. Project Manager Leader but assists the Project Manager(s) in all duties as required by the Project Manager.

      To be successful in this position, you will need to be a positive and pro-active individual with an entrepreneurial spirit that isn’t afraid of rolling up their sleeves to get things done.

      Target Salary: $100,000 - $120,000+ depending on experience plus car allowance

      Site Superintendent Responsibilities

      Safety:

        • Review the SitelogIQ Project Safety Manual and program and implement as required on the assigned projects.
        • Assess site specific safety plans and the safe preparation of work activities.
        • Assist in writing the Site Specific Safety Plan with the Project Manager.
        • Walk site(s) daily to enforce safety and quality control guidelines are being followed.
        • Document “Catching Safety” opportunities in Procore.

      Schedule:

        • Validate progress (in Procore) from contractor’s installation schedules from demo to completion.
        • Coordinate on-time construction by scheduling subcontractors.
        • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, daily log, and request for proposal.

      Scope:

        • Build a positive relationship with the Owner(s) of projects
        • Ensure projects are within project plan & specification
        • Complete detailed daily reports per project site in Procore.
        • Complete 360 camera photos with DroneDeploy and upload to Procore.
        • Answer contractor questions in the field and write RFI’s if needed.
        • Track addendums and modifications.
        • Review monthly red line as-builts of each subcontractor and take the lead to acquire red line as-builts at the end of the project from all subcontractors.

      Teamwork:

        • Support and assist team members throughout the Project(s) life cycle: development/bidding, design, implementation, commissioning, and warranty phases.
        • All other duties as assigned

      Site Superintendent Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field; OR Journeyman license; OR Contractor’s license.
      • 5+years of construction on-site management with a strong understanding of general contracting methods and techniques. Solar a plus.
      • OSHA 30 certification.
      • Proficient in Procore Construction Software and in using MS Office Suite of products, including MS Project, as well as Web based and smart phone applications.
      • Willing to travel to assigned projects sites throughout the week, which may include extended travel of a week or more.
      • Must pass background check and drug test.

      Physical Requirements

      • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds, and must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
      • Site Superintendents work under a variety of conditions and in various settings, depending on the type of job and client
