Job Description

- A minimum of 5 years of experience
- Electrical or mechanical trade certificate
- Technical diploma, degree or relevant qualification related to engineering, construction or similar.
- Craneage/heavy lifting experience including understanding of lift studies and planning and executing works methodologies (for mobile cranes).
- Demonstrated continuous improvement methodology
- Proven leadership experience

This role is for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Site Supervisor - Installation to join our construction team. You will ensure day-to-day Site Installation planning, leading and co-ordination of WTG installation activities, ensuring that we comply with legal requirements, construction and safety codes, and regulations.Region APC>Construction & Operations APAC>Installation & Commissioning
Location : Hawkesdale, Victoria
Responsibilities:
• Manage material co-ordination of WTG components, required availability of tools and subcontractor's staff.
• Responsible for implementation of site-specific Vestas Quality Control Plan fulfilling general Vestas quality Systems toward subcontractor.
• Perform cross-inspection with subcontractor on installed turbines in order to verify correct application of work instructions and quality specifications.
• Manage rigging, unloading & loading and preparation activities at site.
• Perform initial inventory of received goods and materials (tools, site parts, consumables) and handover to subcontractor. Ensure Tools are in good working order with current calibration certificates.
• Perform final inventory of the equipment and parts after completion of site works
• Coordinate with transport and sub-contractors on project delivery schedule.
• Updating status/provide input to project plan
• Daily supervision and progressing of installation activities performed by external resources ensuring the fulfillment of project execution (health, safety, quality and time) and contractual obligations by subcontractor.
• Perform receiving inspection & preservation of WTG components; maintain related reports.
• Supervise installation in compliance with Vestas installation manual and technical specifications
• Conduct "page-turn" with sub-contractors
• Perform final walk down of Turbines.
• Responsible for NCR and implementation of needed actions to solve issues.
• Responsible for as-built documentation.
• Preparation, rigging & installation activities thereby ensuring to achieve installation rate as per project schedule.
