      Shift Supervisor - Sterling Heights, MI.
      (2nd/3rd Shift position) - CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT
      MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A MINIMUM 90-DAYS ON 1ST SHIFT
      PAY RATE: approximately $25.00/hr. (based on proven work history)



      Summary of the Shift Supervisor:
      Oversee all day-to-day operations of the corporate personnel and quality control operations. Manage a positive customer relation with all corporate employees.


      Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor:
      • Develop all new employees in conjunction with Area/Territory Manager in accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment
      • Maintain the daily schedule of all personnel and the lines in which will be functioning that day. Work closely with Area/Territory Manager and Recruiting Department to assure that coverage is available when needed
      • Develop or approve appropriate forms for data acquisition from quality verification operations
      • Provide leadership in troubleshooting to analyze a timely resolution to material and/or any internal problem which may cause an interruption of world class product delivery to our customers. Ability to solve problems and resolve issues. Proper judgment in communication with customers when required
      • Oversee payroll/timesheet logs are collected daily. Enter all hours and daily reports into eValidate on a daily basis
      • Conduct corrective counseling in regard to employees, review all requests for releases with Area/Territory Manager and Human Resources
      • Oversee all training and personnel including quality inspectors. Verify that all training matrices are being updated, and personnel are being trained properly
      • Work and communicate within the Quality Strategy teams to develop team concepts, goals, and directions to increase efficiency and professionalism
      • Maintain present operation structure and procedures are followed as trained and all documents are accurately maintained and submitted to the appropriate person (operations, office administrations, human resources, etc.)
      • Communication with Client and Customer teams to present Client actions and countermeasures to address identified quality concerns
      • Continually review inconsistencies in performance of quality with Area/Territory Manager and Quality Manager
      • Assist the corporate human resources department in implementing new policies and procedures


      Education and Experience requirements of the Shift Supervisor:
      • Bachelor level degree in Engineering or Business preferred, or an Associates degree with an equivalent amount of experience in the automotive quality industry
      • Three to five years' of experience in Quality Assurance with emphasis on supplying the automotive industry
      • Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 Standards. Statistical Quality Control knowledge a plus. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
      • Working knowledge of PFMEAs, control plans, and operator instructions
