      Location Description

      The Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility is 1,120,845 square feet and home to about 470 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits® and 9Lives®. This location has a cannery that produces wet dog food and there is also a Distribution Center on-site. Bloomsburg is home to Bloomsburg University, a municipal airport, a landmark Town Park with many acres of recreational activities, and has one of the largest and longest running fairs in the country.       Are you read to lead and inspire a dynamic team at one of the top manufacturing facilities in the industry? At Post Consumer Brands, we're looking for a passionate and driven Site Vice President (VP) to take our operations to the next level.

      Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

      • Foster high engagement and performance
      • Act as a strategic partner across departments
      • Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing plans
      • Develop long-term strategic, capital, and operational plans
      • Align resources with key manufacturing tasks and business strategy
      • Identify and solve performance constraints with company-wide expertise
      • Optimize talent through planning, assessment, and actions
      • Address facility issues via daily production meetings
      • Hold employees accountable to company values and results
      • Design and measure efficient work processes
      • Create a learning environment for effective work processes
      • Evaluate and manage plant capacity to meet customer demands
      • Oversee new product commercialization and process introductions
      • Adapt to production plan variations while maintaining cost and quality
      • Lead product and capacity management for operational excellence
      • Participate in corporate strategic planning for cost, profit, and growth
      • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
      • Hire, train, and guide plant leadership
      • Represent Post Consumer Brands in the community and with agencies


      Qualifications

      EDUCATION:

      • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, Science or related field.
      • Graduate degree preferred

      EXPERIENCE:

      • Minimum of 10 years combined related experience, including 5 years of management experience as an Operations Manager or other roles at the Plant Manager or Plant Director level
      • Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes
      • Experience leading in a union environment
      • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
      • Able to build relationships and inspire others
      • Able to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
      • Adheres to an appropriate and effective set of values and beliefs during both good and bad times
      • Mentors Plant Managers, Manufacturing Managers, Operations Managers, and Operation Supervisors

      Preference for mobility and willingness to take on broader assignments for additional development opportunities.
