What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate investigation assignments to determine the need for SIU intervention
- Utilize efficient investigative techniques to pursue and acquire relevant evidence for fraud cases
- Communicate with internal and external partners regarding investigations and insurance fraud matters
- Maintain contact with public agencies and other sources for insurance fraud issues and investigations
- Develop and deliver insurance fraud awareness training to internal and external partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Reside in the Greater Houston, Texas area
- 5 or more years of experience investigating medical providers for fraud and abuse or questionable P&C bodily injury claims involved in multi-claim schemes
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Professional investigation experience with law enforcement agencies or involving economic or insurance-related matters
- Authorized medical professional to evaluate medical-related claims
