  Do you have experience working in a packing house operating a Sizer? Are you looking for a new position that will allow you to develop your skills and grow? We are currently hiring Sizer Operators to operate a 16 lane Compac Sizer for a Kiwi Packing House in Reedley. If you experience operating a sizer, the temp to hire opportunity is for you!
  
  salary: $17 - $18 per hour
  shift: First
  work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
  education: No Degree Required
  
  Responsibilities
  
  Operating 16 lane sizer, start the PC to operate all machines make sure that all machines are on auto; Operate 2 PCs at the same time; Receive information on what is to be pack for the day from the production line supervisor; Get the run plan sheet from the receiving supervisor; Start the sizer program which will distribute the fruit to the appropriate machines that are assigned by the size and order placed; Be familiar with the machines to determine what is optimal bagging capacity is; Control the speed of output of the fruit, Monitor if the fruit volume is consistent with machine capacity and packing; Re-direct the fruit to the other machines to ensure there is no stoppage of fruit distribution, if a machine is down; Assign stickers to the fruit based on the instructions from the manager; Clean weights and lights ones a week, Maintain filters clean and replace them when needed; Maintain log for compact to track any problems with the machines; Lift switches at least twice a week located under sizer machine; Program the machine to do self-cleaning when one running; and, Adhere to all employment, workplace safety, and food safety policies and practices.
