- Depending on trade, scope can be construction/utility based, supporting manufacturing equipment and processes, or both.
- Installs, maintains and repairs industrial manufacturing equipment and utility infrastructure.
- Electrician*
- Machine Repair*
- Millwright Welder
- Pipefitter
- Auto, Truck & Trailer Repair
- Transmission Mechanic
- Refrigeration & AC Maintenance
- Stationary Engineer Powerhouse
- Tool & Die Maker
- Carpenter
- Must be able to work any shift
- Must be 18 years of age or otherwise compliant with applicable State and Federal laws
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to qualify for admission to university hosting academic course work.
- Individuals may be given partial credit for prior experience if applicable, including non-industrial apprenticeships or AP high school credits.
- May be required to work with high voltage electricity.
- May be required to work in cramped positions or from ladders, in oils and greases, etc.
- Must be able to pass the industrial vehicle physical examination.

General Description
Summary
The Skilled Trades Apprentice Program combines on the job training with academic coursework. The successful candidate will be trained in a US Department of Labor certified apprenticeship program to work in a manufacturing environment in one of the following trades:
