Project Manager for the Skunk Works Advanced Materials (SWAM) working directly with the General Managers for Deposition Sciences, Inc (DSI), Buellton Advanced Materials (BAM), and Allcomp Advanced Materials to research, design, prototype, develop, test, and produce advanced materials consumed by all Lockheed Martin Business Areas as well as by external customers. The PM will organize, integrate, coordinate, and manage all new business, IT, and capital funds across SWAM. The PM will help drive the Allcomp infrastructure implementation and remove execution barriers, when they arise. The PM will foster and champion BAM’s development of thin line materials, including the stand up of new leased facilities. The PM will drive the integration of DSI into Advanced Development Programs (ADP) coordinating with all functionals to drive this OneAero integration, will assist in guiding and optimizing material rate production, and will oversee affordable thin film material development and strategies. Develops new business or expands the product line with the SWAM general managers. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Travel to the advance material sites is required (Santa Rosa, CA; Buellton, CA; and Rosamond, CA), visiting each at least once a quarter. • Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited university
• Experience leading teams
• Demonstrated experience with multiple leaders both program and functional
• Active Secret Clearance • Understanding of material development and production
• Understanding of thin materials and coatings
• Understanding of ultra-high temp materials
• Experience developing presentation material and presenting material to LM executives
• Strong business acumen
• Funding (NBF, Capital, and Contract) management
• Strong written/verbal skills
