Define the company’s digital technology strategy

More than 6 years experience related to data analysis and digital platform products technology
More than 2 years of big data technical director work experience
Big data platform project development and management
Experience in algorithm development (machine learning, data prediction, etc.) is a plus
Excellent oral & written communication
English & Mandarin fluent written and spoken
Demonstrated Leadership skills
Experience in hiring and managing a technical team
Good cross-department and international coordination skills
Be product-oriented
Have a good understanding of the big data Chinese market & tools
Strong interest for aviation
Job Description:
Accountabilities
Airbus is setting up a subsidiary in China to develop and sell digital solutions for the Chinese aviation market.
The SkyChina Head of Technology is responsible for the technology vision and execution for this entity. This will start by the creation of the local big data platform and will later expand to the development of the platform capabilities to support the development of digital solutions.
As a part of his/her role, the jobholder will be responsible of the following main activities:
Note : as of today, the location of this subsidiary is not yet defined and the jobholder may be requested to move once it has been established. In the meantime, the jobholder may be allowed to work remotely from one of Airbus offices in China.
Main activities
* Define the company’s digital technology strategy
The jobholder will be responsible to assist the Head of Digital Solutions China to define the technology strategy of the company: understand the needs of the company, identify which products would allow the company to fulfill them (from the local market or from open source) and work with the technical team to assess its feasibility.
This covers:
* Support the definition of the digital products strategy
The jobholder will need to work with the business team to understand customer needs, assess both their feasibility and business value. The jobholder will then be responsible to prioritize these projects, decide to launch prototypes or early adopter programs to explore these possibilities.
In addition, the jobholder will be responsible to continuously monitor product and technology innovations to improve platform and product capabilities for China.
* Launch and manage the development of digital products
Once the development of a digital product has been decided, the jobholder will be responsible to launch and manage the development of this product. This includes:

Once this new entity will be created, the jobholder will be responsible to build and lead the technical team (10-25 people). This means
