- Directly supervises slot operations and monitors all related services affecting the department on an assigned shift
- Promotes guest development
- Counsels, guides and coaches personnel in the proper behavior performance of duties
- Administers evaluations, performance reviews and merit compensation within established guidelines
- Maintains work schedules for assigned personnel
- Ensures efficient staffing levels managing hiring, promotion, demotions and termination decisions
- Ensures guest recognition and development are primary duties for all personnel
- Maintain the highest standard of customer service and integrity in the slot department
- Ensure all teams members adhere to department policies, procedures, internal controls and gaming regulations
- Ensure all areas are staffed and direct personnel throughout the casino
- Serve as a witness to jackpot pay offs and perform jackpot pay outs $10,000 and above
- Inspire and motivate team members to perform to their highest potential
- Manages turnover and budget goals
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university
- Strong proven leadership skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with others, able to pro-actively interact with guests
- Empower employees to use their creativity to retain and attract new guests
- Ability to track departmental expenses, balance and justify expenses at end of month
- Strong project management , execution skills
- Strategic and analytical
- Five years of slot experience with two years of supervision
- Physically mobile with reasonable accomodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, rach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varrying work areas such as confined spaces

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
