JOB SUMMARY: Slot Performance Analyst/Administrator is responsible for using advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the effectiveness of operations within the Slot Department. This position will analyze performance and create reports for management to enhance decision-making within the Slot Department as well as create and distribute slot control paperwork and regulatory compliance reporting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maximizing opportunities for departmental and company success. Coordinates the implementation of all SDS development efforts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Develops, in conjunction with the operating departments/MIS, schedules and commitments to implement SDS changes with minimal business interruption.
• Provides Slot Operations with MIS interface support, recording AS400 application development.
• Manages the generation and timely delivery of all Slot Operations’ service requests.
• Maintains files of all slot machines within SDS. Ensures required documentation and training is provided upon transition.
• Develops and delivers SDS management reports in support of Machine Performance and Maintenance, Slot Customer Service Standards and Slot Operations productivity.
• Assists in the planning and the execution of programs to improve slot revenue growth, operational costs and customer service levels assigned.
• Performs duties as assigned.
• Acts as role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• College degree with a Business or Engineering major preferred.
• Two to four years previous experience in MIS and/or Casino Operations.
• Strong analytical and logical skills required.
• Ability to communicate through all levels of the operation is required.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, lift and work at desk and around office. Must be able to operate a computer, 10 key adding machine, photocopier, telephone, fax machine and other office equipment. Must be able to Work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
