What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle on-demand phone interpreting sessions between Slovene and English speakers
- Provide accurate and concise interpretation, ensuring correct concepts and meanings are conveyed
- Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity throughout interpreting sessions
- Follow client instructions and adhere to industry protocols
- Demonstrate commitment to providing high-quality interpretation services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Fluency in Slovene and English, including understanding of cultural dynamics
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
- Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in teaching, language assessment, translation, or interpretation
- Ability to adapt to new technology enhancements
- Proficiency in reading and writing in the requested languages
