      Department: Rehab Services Reports to: Rehab Services Role: Speech Language Pathologist

      of shifts per week: 2-3 weekdays plus weekends - 2 WEEKENDS PER MONTH

      Shift Start and End Time: 08:00-17:00 (weekdays) 07:30-16:00 (weekends) Weekends/On call/Holidays Yes Anticipated length of assignment: 13 weeks

      Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual with white lab coat Licensure and Certification Licensure: California State Speech Therapy License

      Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Certification: American Speech and Hearing Associate Certificate, BLS

      Experience: Advanced clinical training experience and continuing education in specialty area. Number of years of experience: 1 year acute care/hospital experience Preferred skills: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders

      Summary of Major Function: Provides direct patient care. Organizes and conducts medically prescribed speech therapy programs to restore function. May perform other duties as assigned. cute Care Inpatient Speech Therapists provide rehab throughout the hospital, including the Critical Care and Trauma Units. Our SLPs work with a wide array of diagnoses providing speech, dysphagia and cognitive evaluations, make recommendation and deliver the appropriate treatment plans. SLPs also perform Inpatient and Outpatient Video Fluoroscopy Studies (MBSS).
