      Job Purpose

      To create a unique client experience by attending to clients' sales and service needs, fulfill client banking requirements, selling Nedbank sales products and by identifying cross sell opportunities whilst mitigating risk and contributing to branch objectives.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Acquisition of new customers to the Bank within the SME consumer banking division.

      • Marketing of the Bank’s products and services to existing as well as prospective SME clients.

      • Deliver world class benchmarked customer service.

      • Compilation and maintenance of action plans to increase SME banking sales.

      • Meet / exceed monthly set targets.

      • Marketing of the various bank’s products, including SME.

      • Attend to Ad hoc duties

      Key Competencies

      • Customer service driven.
      • Extensive and sound experience in all aspects of sales and banking.
      • Must have the ability to think critically and work well work independently and as part of a team. must be a self-starter, with excellent people skills

      • Good problem solving and analytical skills.

      • Ability to work under pressure and a flexible approach

      • A sound credit background linked with superior interpersonal and marketing skills.

      • Knowledge and experience of financial statements and the analysis thereof.

      • Excellent knowledge of bank’s products and systems.

      • Excellent written and verbal Communication

      People Specification

      • Grade 12 (25 points), and a Diploma / Degree in business/ banking related studies.

      • Minimum of 5 (Five) years Banking Sales experience, of which 2 (Two) years in the SME environment.

      • Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).

      • Problem solving ability.

      • Customer orientated attitude

      • Applicant will be required to work on Saturdays.
