Responsible for initiation to closure of background verification for PAN India through workday or manual
Perform detailed background checks on candidates to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain necessary information and complete comprehensive background checks.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of background check reports, reviewing for any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all background check information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Stay informed about relevant legislation and regulations related to background checks and adjust processes accordingly.
Serve as a subject matter expert on background check policies and procedures, providing guidance and support to other team members.
Review, Analyze, and Escalate complex queries to appropriate groups (HR/TA)
Ensuring quality responses to all queries and complaints; maintaining and adhering to quality standards as outlined in SOPs and operational framework
Following first time right approach in providing accurate resolution and reducing BGV closure time
Communicate and direct candidates to appropriate documentations or procedures needed to complete the BGV
Handle escalations from process partners, HRs and provide RCA plan to your Team Lead
Take Ownership of deliverables and propose action plan to Team Lead
Lead client calls with the process partners on a regular basis and ensures required documentation
Create/Update/Review Process Maps and SOP's of related BGV processes and work closely with team
Ability to challenge the status quo and implement process improvements to enhance the end user and HR partner experience
Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the background check process
Collaborate with hiring managers, HR personnel, and legal teams to address any issues that arise during the background check process.
Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in background screening to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct Quality and Audit Mechanism for HR Processes
Work on Unable To Verify , Discrepant cases in defined TAT
Ensure adherence to defined SLA
Auditing BGV reports
Maintain critical data in workday and sharepoint
“Above-and-beyond” customer service mindset
Security focus with dealing with sensitive HR data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
Knowledge on MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources or other related field
4-5 years of experience in BGV or client services role preferred
Excellent knowledge of background screening tools, databases, and processes
Should have stakeholder management attitude and conflict resolution skills
Good Analytical skills
Should have clear understanding on six sigma concept
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Highly Organized and Self-motivated
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant & tight deadlines
Excellent Customer service skills using efficient processes
Knowledge of Case Management tool an added advantage
Proactive in achieving results and seeking improvements
Highly Employee and Customer centric
Excellent teamwork interaction and orientation
Ability to adapt and drive change to derive efficiencies/productivity
Result oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
Proactive in achieving results with great attention to details
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using technology and various software applications for conducting background checks.
