- Will execute SMED activities
- Will execute accessories preparation and maintenance and die preparation for die sets
- Will participate in improvements and adherence to departmental goals
- Will work as a team to achieve SMED benchmarks
- Will adhere to DOL for shop cleanliness
- Follow all Bocar US safety policies/procedures and report any unsafe conditions or hazards to proper personnel.
- Must to have 2+ years of experience in aluminum die casting or equivalent manufacturing environment experience
- Preferred to have 2+ years of diecast die change experience or other industry die changing equivalent
- Must be available to work different shifts and overtime as required. A willingness to learn new concepts is essential, via coursework or visiting other locations.
- Must be resourceful, have the ability to provide clear and analytical thinking as well as an ability to problem solve and create effective strategies
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Bocar US has a need for an experienced SMED Technician for an exciting opportunity with an international company expanding product manufacturing to the US.

Accessories Technician is responsible to conduct SMED activities, replace and maintain shot sleeves, shot tips, shot rods, limit switches and fittings and hoses, known as accessories
