SUMMARY

Provide fast and friendly guest service, manages inventory, operates cash register, and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store and stockroom.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Serves customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Ensures shelves are fully stocked at all times.
• Stocks and replenishes coolers with products from stockroom.
• Maintains cleanliness of tops and fronts of counters, windows, doors, tobacco cartons, and shelves.
• Sweeps floors inside and walkways outside.
• Removes all litter and debris from parking lot and stockroom.
• Mops all tile floors, clean restrooms, and restock all paper products.
• Empties garbage cans and replace can liners.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and previous cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to maintain a professional status through interface with customers.
• Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with management and co-workers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to indoor and outdoor climate conditions, including variables of heat and cold from drive up window. Exposure to elements during outdoor janitorial duties. Position will require physical, visual and mental efforts due to nature of job.
