- Develop and implement comprehensive, full funnel social media and SEO strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing and cross functional teams to integrate social media and SEO strategies into overall marketing campaigns – quarterly, evergreen, opportunistic.
- Recommend execution of content architecture across the emotional/functional spectrum, consumer funnel, and content pillars
- Brief, create, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Lead and support the work of freelance writers, creatives, and agencies to produce actionable, educational, and relevant content optimized aligned with brand identity
- Develop and optimize content for social media, SEO, blog posts, articles, and website copy
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all content.
- Proactively identify social trends and develop content for relevant trends
- Plan and schedule content using social media management tools
- Monitor and respond to audience engagement and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Set, track and analyze social media and SEO performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize results.
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, in partnership with agency
- Optimize blog content, meta descriptions, and tags to improve search engine rankings, inclusive of content recommendations to scale to DTC and AMZ.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Work closely with marketing and design teams to create visually appealing, engaging, and brand consistent content.
- Partner with team on influencer/ambassador strategy and execution to amplify reach.
- Collaborate with other departments (farm team, sourcing, sustainability, etc.) to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, this position will establish Gaia Herbs as the trusted online authority on herbalism, naturopathic healing, and natural supplementation. The successful incumbent will support the growth of the brand by defining a strategic Social Media and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) program that drives customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
