      Join us in this role where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing Ørsted Region Americas’ social media channels, further developing our strategy to enhance the region’s online presence and brand awareness, and effectively communicate our priorities, initiatives, and values to a diverse audience as we continue to expand and deliver more clean, American-made energy.

      Welcome to Corporate Affairs
      You’ll be part of Communications and Public Affairs where you, together with your colleagues, will develop and lead implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance Ørsted’s reputation, brand awareness, and engagement. As a team, we focus on collaboration across all of Corporate Affairs, different business units, and external partners to achieve our collective goals.

      You’ll play an important role in:

      • developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance Ørsted’s reputations, brand awareness, and engagement.
      • creating, curating, and managing published content for corporate and executive social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagaram and Facebook.
      • overseeing external agency resources and internal team members to deliver frequent and engaging socail media content, as well as manage incident response and monitoring as needed.
      • researching social trends and monitoring social media metrics to gauge success of social media content and adjust strategies for improved reach and engagement.
      • developing and implementing an employee social media branding standard, and contributing to the communications and public speaking enegagements workstream as the social media lead

      To succeed in the role, you:

      • should have a Bachelor’s degree with a preferred focus in communications, political science, or government and have 3-years of experience in corporate, nonprofit, political, and/or government settings.
      • must demonstrate proficiency thorugh experience managing social media accounts for a business, government official or entity, or non-governmental organization.
      • have excellent written and verbal communiation skills with an eye for detail.
      • should have have experience working across multiple teams and bringing together varyious sources of information to develop a messaging strategy.
      • should have a creative mindset with the ability to generate and implement innovative ideas and concepts for social media campaigns.
