The PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) D3 Digital Marketing & Social Media Team is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Social Media Community Manager & Content Creator who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment. Contribute to the strategy and help oversee activation of our social media marketing efforts for the Quaker in emerging channels like TikTok, as well as legacy channels like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. This role will support both proactive and reactive consumer response, execution of the social strategy, and content creation on emerging channels within the internal agency team D3 at PFNA. The successful candidate will be a social media expert, adept in applying the latest best practices in lo-fi content creation and consumer engagement across a broad spectrum of social media platforms. Responsibilities Lead social media community management across social channels, delivering 1:1 consumer response that builds brand affinity and drives engagement. Apply the latest social trends and performance insights gleaned through reporting to inform development of breakthrough social creative concepts to strengthen brand equity and establish an engaging presence. Partner with Social Strategist and Creative Team to create original lo-fi concepts and content that fuels engagement and organic social performance across a variety of social media channels including TikTok, Twitter and Instagram Create and capture lo-fi photos and short-form videos for use on emerging social media channels. Craft engaging social media copy as needed. Support ad hoc social listening to deepen consumer understanding around specific topics, identify reactive social opportunities for the brand, and deliver insightful point of view back to Brand Team. Assist in developing organic social strategies across social channels through close partnerships with key Brand stakeholders. Collaborate with outside agencies and social media platform partners to ensure best-in-class execution, always. Qualifications Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate Degree Preferred: Concentration in Marketing, Communications and/or New Media preferred Work Experience 1-2 years of experience working client-side in marketing or related discipline, at an ad or media agency, media platform, or publisher. Skills / Capabilities Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything. Proven ability to work collaboratively with others. Experience leading community management and creating content on TikTok / Instagram on behalf of brands. Experience and strong understanding of the social media marketing landscape and growth of creator/influencer marketing. Basic understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives. Creative thinker who can bring a brand voice to life across a variety of social media touchpoints. Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution. Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages in a dynamic and compelling way (both externally to consumers and internally to key stakeholders). Entrepreneurial mindset – willingness to roll up your sleeves and get creative in developing in-house lo-fi social media content.
