      The opportunity

      The Social Media Community Manager executes daily community management needs for SNHU global social media platforms. As part of the larger Student Experience Marketing team, the position's primary focus is community engagement, reputation and brand management, and student support. You will report to the Social Media Director. This is a remote friendly position (#LI-Remote).

      In this Role:

      • You will provide community management for all SNHU global social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google.
      • You will respond to all inquiries, concerns and general questions posted on SNHU social media platforms. This includes monitoring and engaging with all organic and paid social media campaigns and programs through platforms and SalesForce Social Studio.
      • You will be a SNHU voice and persona as used on social media channels.
      • You will monitor and respond to posts on review sites such as Facebook, Google, and Better Business Bureau.
      • You will maintain FAQ's, interaction logs, crisis communication plans, tool kits, escalation process, contact list and social media team inbox.
      • You will collaborate with team on all social media content calendars. This includes daily updates, weekly content calendar and planning meeting, submission, management, scheduling, and posting of content.
      • You will help us pull and maintain weekly/monthly social reports and analytics through SalesForce Social Studio and Google Analytics.
      • You will stay up to date with new digital technologies and social media best practices. This includes applying new technologies and new trends and communicating this knowledge to the team.

      What we're looking for:

      • 1+ years of professional experience in social media, digital, marketing or communications (volunteer, internships, paid employment, military, or research).
      • 1+ years of professional copywriting experience.
      • BS in Communications, New Media, Public Relations, Business, Marketing or related degree/field.
      • Professional experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, and Reddit (managing comments and answering questions)
      • Professional experience using social media management or analytics tools, such as HootSuite, bitly, Google Analytics, SalesForce Social Studio, and Unmetric.
      • Working knowledge of Google Drive and tools.
      • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva, and WordPress.
      • Working knowledge of presentation software such as PowerPoint or Google Slides.
      • Knowledge of social media implications (i.e., brand presence versus personal channels)
      • Experience using promotion/paid features of social media platforms.
      • Knowledge of graphic design, photography, and video.
      • Working knowledge of Apple computers and software.

      Compensation

      The annual pay range for this position is $51,608.00 - $82,590.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $57,027.00 - $77,155.00.
