      What is the Opportunity?

      RBC offers an exciting role as a Social Media Content Creator. As a Social Media Content Creator, you will be an essential team contributor. You will support RBC’s enterprise-wide paid and organic social media strategy developing social media content for multiple channels. Equipped with a robust understanding of video production, Creator-led strategy and content, and social media formats, technology and tools, you will support the team with social media content development and execution.

      What will you do?

      • Responsible for filming, editing and delivery of video content for both social media and electronic communications published on RBC’s Enterprise social media channels across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Snapchat and Pinterest.

      • Develop, deliver and consult on all stages of social-first video production (concepting, scripting, storyboarding, shot lists, pre-production materials, filming, editing, colour correction, sound design, etc.) utilizing specific video camera, video editing, and animation/sound processing tools.

      • Consult on Creator-led strategies, working with talent and external vendors to produce high-performing content developed for social channels.

      • Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the production process, satisfying needs and expectations.

      • Stay current on industry trends, evolving customer expectations, and emerging social strategies (organic and paid) to keep RBC at the forefront of social engagement in our competitive environment.

      • Maintain a consistent brand experience across all design requirements.

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must have:

      • Portfolio is required.

      • 3-5 years of experience developing video content for social media.

      • 2-4 years of experience working with Creators, Influencers and talent.

      • Proficient at using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of design programs including After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

      • Capable of following directions and adhering to brand standards, managing timelines and easily adapting to an ever-changing workflow.

      • Exceptionally detail-oriented, well organized, striving for flawless execution.

      • Must be a self-starter; strong ability to take initiative and exhibit a proactive mindset.

      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate with people in a wide variety of areas and at various levels from marketers, Creators, external agencies and project managers.

      • Ability to learn and absorb quickly new concepts, apply new knowledge as appropriate and transfer knowledge to others.

      Nice-to-have:

      • Agency and/or Financial Services experience

      • Augmented Reality experience

      • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
