Assist in creating and supervising marketing plans for events when required, to include all available services: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Marquee, Media Placement, Promotional Development, etc.
Coordinates email marketing database and creation/distribution of targeted email newsletters, show marketing, promotional and survey email communication
Organizes venue assets including logos, videos and images across digital asset management platform
Assists in data tracking of all marketing-related efforts for events
Coordinates development of marketing material and procedures to function effectively as an in-house agency.
Remains current on national trends in the industry and local market changes to best serve the facility
Coordinates with Marketing Director in updating and maintaining the venues websites.
Monitors and manages social media sites for the venues, collaboratively with Marketing Director.
Communicates with outside advertising agencies on on-going campaigns
Writes and prepares copy for print/radio/TV spots. Places advertising for event marketing under supervision of Marketing Director
Coordinates promotions and special events with event promoters and facility personnel.
Collaborate with marketing team to create a content calendar.
Attend events and produce live social media content.
Use social media marketing tools such as Sprinklr.
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools (Sprinklr).
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML.
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with graphic design.
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Experience with audience persona research.
- Good understanding of social media KPIs.
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space.
- BA in Marketing or similar relevant field.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a full-time position responsible for developing and implementing the digital and social media strategy for the Fishers Event Center with direction from the Marketing Director. This role focuses on increasing the online presence and improving marketing and sales efforts for the Fishers Event Center
