      Job Description

      Lincoln Tech in Lincoln, RI is seeking an on-site Social Media Coordinator who will primarily be responsible for creating and publishing content on the campus' Instagram platform and contributing campus content for other corporate social media platforms, including= Tik Tok, Facebook, YouTube, X and LinkedIn. The Admin will also take direction from the corporate social media team on monthly campus and system wide initiatives and content requests as needed. The Social Media Admin should be a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for designing social content, brand building, increasing audience engagement and social participation. This position is required to be on-site daily at the Lincoln, RI campus.
      Key Qualifications:
      • Associate’s degree required; concentration in advertising, marketing, media or communications preferred. Bachelor’s degree strongly desired.
      • 1-2+ years of direct social media experience
      Responsibilities:
      • Manage day-to-day Instagram posts for their campus page.
      • Work with campus staff, students and graduates to gather content for postings.
      • Manage published content (images, video and copy) and ensure engagement with comments, likes and messages.
      • Understand basic social media metrics and be able to take action from monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports
      • showing social media results.
      • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way.
      • Establish ongoing communication with Corporate Social Media team.
      • Attend campus events on and off campus as needed including career fairs, graduations, etc.
      • Stay on top of social media trends.
      • Perform other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      Additional Requirements

      • Knowledge and understanding of Instagram and its features including reels, stories, etc.
      • Experience in social media tactics that increase brand equity and awareness.
      • Strong writing skills for social media channel.
      • Understanding of basic social media metrics.
      • Experience with content creation tools (i.e. Canva, promo.com, etc.) is a plus.
      • Team player with the confidence to take the lead and gather content from campus staff, instructors, students, employers and graduates.
      • Demonstrates winning social customer service techniques. Possesses ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
      • Ability to effectively communicate with employees and managers of the organization at both the corporate and campus levels.
      • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and software.
