Job Description

Create and schedule content for Houzz social media channels, including static posts, original videos and cut downs of current content supporting our B2C and B2B channels
Manage multiple pieces of content simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Engage with our existing community and execute projects for audience growth
Ability to take on and adhere to an existing brand voice for content and engagement
Strong writing skills, including writing for social media
Fluency with Instagram and TikTok content creation and platforms (Let’s see your content!)
Experience with video editing software and an eye for succinct, effective storytelling
Creativity and ability to pitch, own and execute new content ideas
Strong time management skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects while still working effectively
Previous experience in internships within the entertainment or social media space
Production experience
Bonus: Passion for interior design or construction

About the Role
Houzz is looking for an intern to work with our Branding & Communications team, creating content for and engaging with our community on our social media channels, primarily focusing on Instagram and TikTok. You will create original, branded content and engage with our enthusiastic online community. This is a 4-5 month-long, remote internship. This role will report to our Director, Community and will work closely with other members of the Branding & Communications team.

This role offers an hourly base pay rate. The base pay rate is $20.00 per hour. We also offer competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz.
