      Job Description

      The opportunity

      The Social Media Specialist manages current, new and emerging social platforms to grow total Manulife Canada social presence (LinkedIn, FB, IG, Youtube , Pinterest, etc.)
      Reporting to the Canada Segment Director, Content, this role will be responsible for creating and executing content across owned platforms in collaboration with cross functional teams, and building wholistic social/digital content distribution plans across platforms in collaboration with cross functional partners.


      Responsibilities

      Manages current, new and emerging social platforms to grow total Manulife Canada social presence (LinkedIn, FB, IG, Youtube , Pinterest, etc.)
      Executes content across owned platforms in collaboration with cross functional teams
      Supports social feed curation on Manulife.ca
      Builds wholistic social/digital content distribution plans across platforms in collaboration with cross functional partners
      Community management of Manulife Canada Segment social channels
      Writing, editing and developing content for social media channels and Manulife.ca
      Optimize new and existing content for SEO
      Support Manager in creating the integrated content calendar
      Publish and promote content
      Monitoring and analyzing content and social media data/ performance leveraging Adobe and Google Analytics
      Developing/executing social media strategies, generating and publishing daily content
      Optimizing pages on various digital platforms
      Moderating user-generated content

      What we are looking for

      Proven experience working in social media marketing
      Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
      Social and digital content analytics tools experience, including social listening
      Experience with writing for SEO
      Experience developing and executing online content strategy and creation
      Knowledge of and experience with keyword research
      Experience managing social media channels, developing content calendar
      - Bilingual in French an asset

      Salary & Benefits

      The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

      Primary Location

      Toronto, Ontario

      Salary range is expected to be between

      $58,650.00 CAD - $97,750.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
