What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute content strategies for social media channels to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement
- Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to create engaging content that aligns with business objectives
- Provide guidance on social media best practices to internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive online presence
- Monitor community engagement and respond promptly to audience interactions on social platforms
- Track and report on social media metrics to assess performance and recommend improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience managing social media content and strategy
- Proficiency with social media platforms and publishing tools
- Strong writing and editing skills, capable of simplifying complex topics into engaging content
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in social media within a healthcare, government, or regulated environment
- Familiarity with enterprise-level brand standards and content governance
- Background in community management, including moderation and responding to inquiries
- Experience with image/video editing tools for quick-turn visual content
- Demonstrated ability to align social media content with broader campaign strategies
