      The team

      ITV is the biggest commercial television network in the UK, broadcasting some of the most talked about television programmes across the globe. This role sits within our ITV Commercial team - responsible for bringing in the £1.9bn worth of advertising that helps fund ITV's programming.

      You’ll be part of our award-winning creative & sponsorship team, BE Studio - an enhanced creative partnerships team that puts branded entertainment out into the universe for ITV. Reporting into the Social & Digital Controller, you’ll be one of the first people to join an exciting new venture for ITV Commercial.

      The role

      Are you passionate about shaping the future of branded social content? ITV, a powerhouse in the world of entertainment, is seeking a Social Producer to join our team and drive our social production and branded content capabilities to new heights. Be part of our mission to captivate audiences across various platforms - creating authentic entertainment that works for our brands and for audiences too.

      Not only will you work across all our shows in the UK, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with our production teams to ideate the best branded content in the business: knowing our shows inside out is key to the role.

      Some Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities...

      Generate innovative ideas for branded social content that translate into successful partnerships, leveraging insights into audience behaviours on different social media platforms

      Collaborate closely with our production teams to ensure these ideas fit seamlessly into the brand guidelines of our show social handles

      Taking a clear advertiser brief and ensuring you understand what’s required

      Creating slides to communicate your ideas and ambitions to clients

      Knowing compliance rules inside out

      Ideate tonally versatile content for ITV's channels and programs, maintaining authenticity and relevance for each show

      Manage stakeholder demands while delivering high-quality content within strict budgets and report on performance metrics to inform future campaigns

      Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

      Extensive experience in generating engaging social ideas that drive substantial reach and audience engagement

      Strong editorial judgement and a proven track record of creating high-quality social videos from inception to completion

      Deep understanding of social media audience behaviours and trends, inclusive of what works for each platform - applying this knowledge effectively in content ideation

      Ability to produce creative projects aligned with established briefs and an eagerness to stay updated on digital and social media trends

      Confident decision-making skills in creative, technical, and budgetary aspects of production

      Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

      Proficiency in all aspects of video production, from conceptualisation to delivery, with prior experience in digital video production preferred but not essential

      Good knowledge of all digital channels and other media (inclusive of all social platforms, podcasts, and anything else we might put in the broader umbrella of ‘social’)

      Commercially-minded with good knowledge of marketing communications strategies and ability to sell against

      Proactive thinker – can not only seize but also create new opportunities

      Confidence to challenge the norm, not be risk averse and break new ground with ideas

      Ability to champion creativity by producing brave ideas and clever activations of those ideas no matter what the brief/opportunity is

      Ability to multi-task as part of a busy team
