      Summary of Job Duties:

      ***Applicant must reside in Pine Bluff or the Pine Bluff School District***

      The STARLITE Social Work Case Manager is responsible for assisting and providing one-on-one case management support and facilitating small groups for at risk 7th-12th grade students and their families in the Pine Bluff School District.


      Qualifications:

      Minimum Qualifications

      Education, general: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Rehabilitation or a related healthcare or quality improvement discipline.

      ***Applicant must reside in Pine Bluff or the Pine Bluff School District***

      Preferred Qualifications

      Education, general: Master’s Degree preferred.

      Experience, amount (in years) and type: 1 or more years’ experience in case management.


      Additional Information:

      Responsibilities:

      • Coordinates individual academic & behavioral supports for students including focusing on promoting social-emotional learning, mental health services, and crisis management training for staff to create a safe learning environment within Pine Bluff schools.
      • Collaborates with the Program Manager and School Faculty and other community-based organizations to ensure student success and decrease youth acts of violence at Pine Bluff Schools.
      • Responsible for attending weekly meetings to consult on cases and review case plans and direction.
      • Develops and maintain positive networking relationships with community partners and resources for students and families of Pine Bluff School District.
      • Partners with the multi-disciplinary team utilizing best practices, relevant data and compliance with the mission/philosophy, standards, goals and core values of UAMS: Comfort, Hope, and Healing.
