Provide advocacy, education, timely bio-psycho-social and environmental interventions for patients and families as appropriate to achieve an optimal level of care. In addition to fulfilling social work duties, roles and responsibilities, the Social Work Supervisor is responsible for providing administrative and management support to Social Work staff, facilitating staff development through orientation, education, and case review, performing policy and procedure review and revision, facilitating TJC and CMS preparedness and support. Supervisor will support the Manager in all areas of day-to-day operations within their respective departments and attend or lead meetings, huddles, and other activities as directed by the manager.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the state of Idaho required
2. Must provide Oregon LCSW licensure or proof of application in process within six months of hire.
3. Master’s degree in social Work required
4. Two years’ experience in hospital or medical social work.
5. Two years management/leadership experience
