Job summary
If you do, an opportunity has arisen to become a social worker in a well-established ,integrated mental health team. CITT is a busy team which offers a considerable amount of a variety. The multi-disciplinary team share an office base and work jointly with the mental health therapies and intensive teams. The applicant need not have previous experience with older adults as experience and skills are transferable. One of the values of the team is to provide service users and carers with flexible and creative care packages, aimed at maintaining peoples independence at home. The team has access to a lot of community resources, working closely with third sector, private and statutory providers. The team also works closely with the general hospital (RUH) to facilitate and ensure that service users who meet the CITT criteria are discharged with the appropriate ongoing support. The is to this ensure that CITT service users are discharged in an efficient and timely way.

There will be an ongoing opportunity to provide specialist knowledge to partner agencies in a variety of settings. The successful applicant will be encouraged to develop their therapeutic skills. You will be joining a supportive team, at a time when there is an opportunity to assist in developing new services and ways of working. This post attracts a welcome payment of 5% of the starting salary for the grade to enable individuals to join our permanent workforce. This is payable upon successful completion of your probationary period and is subject to eligibility criteria.
Your main place of work will be Bath NHS House / The Hollies Midsomer Norton.
