Provide a short description of the Position: Heavy involvement with the in-progress Claims Center Plus project to upgrade the technology platform and enhance business process workflow by implementing a more tailored and guided user experience. Heavily involved in the in-progress Increase Field Sizes of Critical Data Elements project. Production support tasks within existing claims applications, including, but not limited to, Case Management, Compensation Payments, Reserves, eClaims reporting, Reports etc.
Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: The consulting resource will be responsible for design, coding, testing, iImplementation, and data migration activities for NYSIF's internal Claims Center Plus project. Includes developing front end modules, developing Oracle stored procedures to support business logic funtionality, developing batch processes, architecting and developing data migration processes, integration with other related systems/processes. Front-end and back-end changes required for the Increase Field SIzes of Critical Data elements project. Production support of current claims processes. The consultant will adhere to NYSIF’s application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.
