What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software
- Create models and diagrams to guide programmers in coding applications
- Perform software updates, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
- Provide analysis and reporting on software project specifications and status
- Coach and guide less-experienced professionals, potentially serving as a team lead

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in developing complex web applications, web services, and APIs
- Proficient in technologies such as Java, J2EE, Mulesoft, XML, JSON, SOAP/REST APIs, and JAX-WS
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and development in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong mentoring skills with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with healthcare and healthcare insurance solutions, especially Medicaid
- Familiarity with HIPAA healthcare data and relevant transaction types
- Experience designing and managing APIs via API Gateways using platforms like MuleSoft
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (IP/TCP/UDP/DNS/HTTP)
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
