Design, develop, and integrate software and firmware for advanced Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) systems.

Develop automated calibration procedures based on detailed specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents.

Collect and verify technical information from libraries, online sources, and industry experts.

Collaborate with customers, vendors, OEMs, and subject matter experts to accurately interpret and implement technical specifications.

Apply industry-standard tools and techniques tailored to specific project requirements.

Develop basic prototype test programs to evaluate TMDE systems against manufacturers’ specifications.

Use advanced mathematical formulas and calculations in the development of calibration procedures.

Compile test results and present findings clearly to management and stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience in software development.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, HTML, and VBScript.

Proven experience developing automated calibration procedures using technical documentation.

Excellent research skills and ability to validate information from a variety of technical sources.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Visio.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Active DoD secret clearance is required to start.

Familiarity with the U.S. Army CALSETS program and Army calibration procedures.

Experience with remote programming using IEEE488 (GPIB), RS232 serial, and LAN interfaces.

Advanced mathematical skills for calibration processes.
Torch Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and innovative Software Developer to support the Product Director for Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE). This position will design, develop, and integrate software and firmware components for advanced TMDE systems, enabling enhanced diagnostic and prognostic capabilities.
