  Software Developer Internship

  This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

  Job Description:

  HPE Operations prioritizes putting customers and partners first by developing the workforce of the future. This involves strategic, inclusive, and collaborative working culture.   What you would do:

  Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

  PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS FOR AN INTERNSHIP , YOU SHOULD BE CURRENTLY STUDYING and for at least the next 6 months IS MANDATORY TO BE LOCATED IN PUERTO RICO

  Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes design and determines test scripts, coding and automation based on the high level specifications
  • Generate new test procedures or enhance existing test procedures to validate products requirements and specifications
  • Executes and writes portions of testing plans with focus on unit and integration level testing.
  • Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

  Education and Experience Required:
  University student within 6 to 12 months of graduation with a technical degree specialization in Computer Science, Information Systems,

  Knowledge and Skills:

  • Software systems design tools and languages like Python or other Windows/Linux shell scripts.
  • Understands the fundamentals / basic concepts of testing
  • Basic understanding of a Server system architecture
  • Technical communication skills in English and local language
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
