      As a Software Developer you will support the application that safeguards the handling of the passenger and their baggage, in addition to the handling of their data and security while they reach their gate and are off to their final destination.       This position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma and will work onsite.

      What YOU Will Do:

      • You will follow Airport Industry Specifications to develop an industry leading baggage message processing platform for passenger processing.
      • You will become familiar with and execute lift and shift activities of our baggage messaging platform to AWS.
      • You will gain experience is what is required for performance and security while running a platform in the Cloud.
      • You will gather requirements.
      • You will write complex queries, stored procedures, and support database design.
      • You will design, develop, enhance, and install the software applications.
      • You will implement unit and automated tests cases.
      • You will participate in future product planning and direction.

      Qualifications You Must Have :

      • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
      • Prior experience in .NET development using C#
      • Prior experience working AWS and deploying .NET applications in the cloud.
      • Prior experience developing multi-threaded applications.
      • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

      Employee Referral Eligible

      The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
