As a Developer at UWM, you will work in a fast paced, results driven .NET environment and be responsible for building a highly scalable enterprise application. We are looking for Developers who, on top of unparalleled coding ability, possess exemplary communication and leadership skills.

This position reports directly to one of our Team Leads in Application Development or Product Development.

      WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

      • Developing extensible enterprise software using cutting-edge technology
      • Participating in Scrum ceremonies (stand-up, refinement, priority, planning, retrospective)
      • Collaborating with Architects, Developers, business clients, and teams across IT to create and deliver industry-leading software
      • Developing and designing user interface components, web services and database interactions
      • Promoting best practices and patterns in software development
      • Researching and assessing new technologies

      WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

      Must Have Qualifications:

      • Computer-related degree or equivalent experience
      • 2+ years of professional software development experience
      • 2+ years of experience using web-based technologies
      • Experience developing enterprise software
      • Relational database experience (SQL, NoSQL)
      • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
      • This position requires full-time, on-site attendance.

      Nice to Have Qualifications:

      • Experience in the mortgage industry
      • Experience with Jira
      • Experience in an Agile environment
      • Experience unit testing
      • Experience with .NET
      • Knowledge of SOLID principles
      • Exemplary communication abilities
      • Experience with full SDLC process
      • Experience with database design
      • The ability to estimate and delegate tasks for larger projects
