      If you are a Computer Science or Information Technology student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you as a Software Developer Intern! This role is responsible for resolving minor issues related to out of the box functionality of applications being supported, monitoring of jobs, and creation and execution of test scripts. This role provides support for Emerson.com and Emerson Commerce Stores.

      In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

      • Deliver support tickets related to functional area they are assigned
      • Update documentations and knowledge based for solutions applied
      • Follow established coding standards, deployment cadence based on technical guidelines
      • Execution of test scripts and regression scripts in Dev, Stage and Production Environment
      • Participate in all events and meetings needed for SAFE Agile
      • Resolve issues related to general functionality of the application and code development of non-critical features of the application
      • Analysis and estimation of tickets and provide solutions

      For This Role, You Will Need:
      • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / BS Information Technology or related courses
      • Basic Understanding of web development technologies (HTML,CSS and JavaScript)
      • Basic Understanding of concepts of Content Management and E-Commerce
      • Legal Authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
      • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in at least 1-2 area of technology:
        - Java Programming Language
        - Web Development Technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
        - Building SQL Scripts
        - Commerce Catalog Subsystem and associated Data Models
        - Use of Commerce Management Center to handle catalogs and layouts
        - Use of CMS Application (CoreMedia Studio) and Out of the Box Features
        - Developing NodeJS and Batch Script for data processing
        - Digital Analytics dashboard
        - Developing test using test case templates
      Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
      • 1 year of experience in Web Development Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
      • 1 year of related experience in Java Development
      • 1 year of experience in writing SQL Scripts
