- ServiceNow development experience is a must.
- Some experience with automation on the ServiceNow platform.
- Having HTML experience would be good. Java is primary.
- PowerShell experience helpful as well.
- Min of 5-7 years of experience, however, really looking at experience more than number of years. May have worked as a BA within ServiceNow, however, is new to the development side as an example of someone we may not want to see for this role. Again, the development and automation piece is what we’re looking for.
Resource must be on site 3 times per week; either Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN. With the Agile/Sprint structure, it makes it increasingly critical for a resource to be present and engaged with the team in person to be successful in this role.
Project Overview
This role is a ServiceNow Developer. Day to day would be working within multiple modules within the ServiceNow system. Looking at automation type responsibilities as well.
What does a typical day look like?
This resource will work closely with the process team which defines best practices. The team that this resource is supporting really builds the tool to support those processes. From the operations perspective, there is another team that would execute. This resource would work cross functionally with those teams in addition to stakeholders on a daily basis to confirm requirements, pushing for testing, etc. The team works in an Agile fashion which includes sprint ceremonies, daily standups, sprint planning, grooming sessions, etc. Updating cards in Jira. Tech writing or documentation is not part of the role.
