What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules for the employer's product suite
- Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodologies and techniques
- Analyze requirements and specifications to create detailed designs for implementation
- Resolve software-related issues originating from internal or external customers
- Mentor team members in proper software engineering methods and techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
- 2-3 years of industry experience
- Experience with SQL query optimization and tuning, stored procedures, and triggers
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages
- Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, and Hive
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices
- Experience with 3rd party platforms such as Appian and Cloudera Hadoop
- Proficiency in working with large data sets
