      About the role

      Salary: up to £60,000 dependent on experience

      Hargreaves Lansdown is looking for a talented software engineer to join the Acc/Dec Pensions product development team - working on one of Hargreaves Lansdowns leading product offerings.

      The Software Engineer for the AccDec Team is accountable for developing, testing, delivering and maintaining the front end source code for the platform/product, aligned with HLs technology strategy.

      Responsibilities

      • Analyse and assess the business requirements and develop the source code according to HL technical requirements.
      • Collaborate with team members and other teams to ensure the best client outcomes.
      • Responsible for the code quality produced and delivery of the AccDec Team front end products.

      General tech skills and experience

      • Experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Javascript, netlify
      • Experience of Kubernetes or similar
      • Experience in working in a regulated environment while maintaining delivery at pace.
      • Excellent understanding of best practices.
      • Understanding of Microservices & APIs.
      • Understanding CI / CD and Trunk Based Development.
      • Experience with Agile methodology.
      • Experience in automation; functional and non-functional.
