What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build high-performance services using GoLang and gRPC to enhance the customer experience
- Establish and promote best practices in design, coding, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate across teams to deliver improvements and maintain high-quality service
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Navigate complexities and deliver projects within tight timeframes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer with 2+ years focused on backend services using GoLang and gRPC
- Proven ability to integrate at least two third-party applications using GoLang
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar cloud infrastructure tools
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ, etc.) and proficiency in SQL or NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of modern development practices and a solid command of GoLang
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Ruby or Python
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and AI/ML technologies
- Knowledge of applications using OpenAI/ChatGPT
- Experience with rate limiters, caching, metrics, logging, and debugging
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools
