  Position Overview :

  The Software Engineer provides technical expertise to design technology solutions and drive appropriate technical architecture focusing on internal business applications for Caribou Coffee and Bagel Brands.

  This individual will be responsible for technical design, development, testing, implementation and enhancement of internally developed software and third-party applications.

  DOING – What you deliver | Core Responsibilities

  Application Development

  • Participate s in developing technical designs, coding, unit testing, debugging, documenting , maintaining , and implementing business solutions.

  • Interact s with Business Analysts and stakeholders to design solutions that best meet user requirements . Communicates technical concepts effectively to any audience.

  • Communicate s progress on software development to leaders and B usiness A nalysts .

  • Stay s current on developments and best practices in the information technology field.

  • Maintain s knowledge necessary to support goals and programs for the department and retain professional competence.

  Technical Support

  • Serve s as custom applications point-of-contact; provide s technical support.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues with custom programs , applications, and integrations .

  Qualifications:

  Required:

  • 1 year of experience or a b achelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

  • E xperience d evelop ing using modern front-end frameworks or microservices . For example, Azure F unctions and APIs, . NET CORE , Quasar.

  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and other automated environment mechanisms.

  Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

  • Familiarity with languages: SQL , C# , or Node.js

  • Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

  • Exposure to Microsoft’s Azure platform.

  Physical Requirements:
