      This position is a Blue-Sky opportunity contingent on the award of the Front Range Operations and Sustainment Team (FROST) contract.

      This individual will support software development and sustainment processes of the NOPS LANCE system supporting satellite on-orbit and launch activities. Participate in an Agile software development environment to design and develop software builds, provide input to formal testing, assist in integration, and respond to user concerns. Collaborate with engineering staff, operators, customers, and vendors on regular basis to support the engineering process, collect/clarify software requirements, and coordinate integration with COTS products. Maintain software documentation for configuration and baseline control. Additional general areas of responsibility include:
      • Support software project and baselines
      • Review and provide analysis of software requirements to help determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
      • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
      • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
      • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures
      • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas • Must possess an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
      • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
      • Knowledge of Agile methodology
      • Knowledge of Java, C, and C++ • NRO experience
      • Experience with systems engineering practices, requirements management, and sustainment/logistics practices
      • Experience with agile management tools
      • Experience with on-orbit satellite operations, booster launch events, and the SCN
      • Desire to work in a fast paced, mission-focused environment
      • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
      • Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
