What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement new features, APIs, and products for the employer’s credit card platform
- Collaborate with engineers across the organization to deliver high-quality code efficiently
- Architect and design scalable, secure systems that support millions of customer transactions
- Build and maintain clear technical documentation for the growing, distributed team
- Solve complex technical challenges associated with payments, money movement, and sensitive financial data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably with product-facing financial systems
- Proven track record of delivering impactful features and products in fintech, payments, or credit
- Expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing APIs and data flows for transactional systems
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, compliance requirements, or PCI-related systems is a plus
- Strong drive and proactivity, with a builder and executor mindset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Node and TypeScript, especially within a microservice-oriented architecture
- Familiarity with the NestJS framework, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Background in building and shipping product features for iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native
