- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 2 + years of experience programming with one or more of the following: C or C++, Javascript, Java, SQL
- Exposure in overall delivery cycle including requirement gathering, development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, production support.
- Flexible to work across the teams and adaptive to learn new methodologies & technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Experience with ETL, database query languages
- Familiarity and/or experience with tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, uDeploy, Autosys
- Experience with Linux, scripting, Putty, NoSQL/SQL Datastore
- Familiarity with Test Automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright
- Knowledge and working experience with interpreting and implementing security and controls at the application and data level, for a S-OX application.
- Collaborate directly and continuously with the product team and product owner to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business opportunities and production incidents. Responsible for defining those needs into well designed technical solutions and developing business features, user stories and solutions using C++, Javascript, SQL.
- Update automated regression test scripts and execute as needed to meet business requirements.
- Provide production monitoring and end-user support when required to resolve system issues. Participate in incident response, support, recovery, and postmortem analysis.
We are seeking a Software Engineer that will combine software engineering and systems engineering disciplines to ensure that implementation on a Planisware and Oracle Hyperion based application is of high quality, scalable, and maintainable. This individual will perform a key role with developing and optimizing application functionality and system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve.
